There is a familiar magic that can be found under the lazy arc of coastal palms, where winds whisper through the fronds and coconuts lie nestled in the sand. The untamed coastlines of island life are woven into the very fabric of Spell, so walking these shores again for the second act of Golden felt like tracing the outline of our younger selves, stepping back into a geography that quietly helped author our story from the very beginning.
This cast-away setting speaks to our soul, and is entwined with the early days of Spell, forming the backdrop for some of our most beloved chapters. They are the settings where we shot those first wild, memorable campaigns that took on a folklore of their own ~ living on in hearts, minds, and Pinterest boards everywhere. We still remember shooting Island Boho with our forever muse Zippy Seven against the edge of the reef, and Seashell with the otherworldly Isabel Lucas, draped in gowns under wide northern skies.
Thrumming with nostalgia, Golden ~ New Arrivals vibrates with the salt-infused echoes of classic Spell, brought to life through bespoke prints, romantic whites, and fresh summer colour.
On this new island adventure, Solaris takes centre stage in a vibrant paisley of sun-washed yellow and piercing lapis blue ~ colours reminiscent of cloudless skies and afternoons lost in a golden haze. A custom Spell print framed by intricately illustrated borders, it floats across breathtaking, billowy silhouettes designed to catch the sea breeze, while vintage-inspired piped edges and signature charms lend a gently nomadic spirit to these hero pieces.
Elsewhere, a spectrum of ocean blues and quiet flashes of silver sequins capture the play of sunlight on salt water. A cameo of scallop-edged terry towelling separates and a silky viscose dress that moves like water carry an effortless, untamed siren-like charm.
Signature romantic whites have been reimagined with the most delicate of heirloom details: think softly frilled hems, rows of tiny pintucks, and intricate lace edges. Threaded through with whispers of pale blue ribbon, these collectible pieces feel like antique treasures, discovered washed ashore in an immaculately preserved cedar chest.
